Firstly, when buying water pipes, we need to learn to read the labels. The black spray code on the water pipe is the "ID card" of the product, which will indicate the brand, place of origin, anti-counterfeiting code, and so on.

Wall thickness of water pipe
PP-R water pipes are divided into two types: cold water pipes and hot water pipes. When buying cold water pipes, it is recommended that the wall thickness should not be less than 2mm, and hot water pipes should preferably not be less than 3mm. This method is relatively simple and effective, and can basically judge the quality of the water pipes.

Is it transparent
Whether it is transparent or not is mainly determined by the density of the water pipe. If the density is too low, it is easy to breed bacteria in the later stage, and this phenomenon is basically caused by the thin wall thickness. We can use a flashlight to shine light into the water pipe and check if it is transparent. Transparent water pipes have a lower density, while those with a lower density are the high-quality water pipes we need.
